Don&#8217;t PANIC !!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-16.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-685\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It means that duplicate XY points were found either in sgy and\/or in the nav file. Just remove them and try loading again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, I&#8217;m using &#8220;Gateway&#8221; to transfer data from Kingdom to Petrel. As shown in the picture below, I got the same message stating that XY points were found and transfer stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-17.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-686\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>First of all, export nav file in Kingdom. In the tree, right click on the profile you want to be exported -&gt; Export -&gt; World Coordinates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-19.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-688\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the window that pops up, use Line Trace X Y format and select Tab separator , then click ok<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-20.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-689\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>the file name must have exactly the same name as the sgy file. Write manually &#8220;.txt&#8221; at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-21.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-690\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now open excel -&gt; Open a file -&gt; select &#8220;all files&#8221; at the bottom -&gt; select the newly created txt file and click open<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-22-1024x574.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-691\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>in the window that opens, check if &#8220;delimited&#8221; is selected (remember: you have exported with a tab delimiter). Click next<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-23.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-692\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tab should be selected by default. Click next and finish<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-24.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-693\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Your nav file should appear as below. In my case, the line name is a number and is too long. So I had to select the column and define the cell format as number with no decimals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-25.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-694\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>the excel sheet appear now in the right format:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-26.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-695\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the fourth column -&gt; Data -&gt; Erase duplicates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-27-1024x332.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-696\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the window that pops up, uncheck columns A and B (Line number and trace number respectively) and click ok<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-28.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-697\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Excel informs you how many values were removed and then click ok and save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-29.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-698\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s time to re-import the nav file in kingdom. So, right click on the name file in the tree -&gt; Import -&gt; World coordinates -&gt; 2D by file<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-30.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-699\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Select &#8220;Other Files&#8221; to find the txt file you&#8217;ve just saved<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-31.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-700\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the window, just click Ok<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-32.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-701\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the window that pops up, you have to define what columns are used. Tick the box &#8220;Line Name&#8221; and expand it to the right to cover the entire name (first column).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-33.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-702\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then tick Shot point X and Y and the window should appear as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-34.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-703\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Kingdom asks you to choose the coordinate system. By default it should be the same. So, just click ok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-35-1024x226.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-704\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>WARNING: in the window that pops up, kingdom asks you to load sgy data. click NO !!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-36.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-705\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Open Gateway and try to transfer the seismic profile.
