You could also have nav files in ASCII format (i.e. txt files: start where *** are displayed). You should obtain this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/01-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-398\" style=\"width:725px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>First, in kingdom right click on a profile in the main tree and select Export -&gt; World Coordinates (=nav file).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/02-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-399\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the window that opens, select output format as &#8220;tab&#8221; (separator)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, the seismic profile you right-click on is selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select &#8220;export world coordinates using current base map annotations&#8221; (it works only if your QGIS project has the same CRS)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/03-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-400\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click ok (even if a pop up window states that the geometry is compromised) and save your file as a txt file: write the name as C7-09.txt for example<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then we will use surfer, as it manages very large files (not excel). Open surfer and open your file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/04-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-401\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Use parameters as it is in the above window and click ok. The file should appear like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/05-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-402\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The first column is the name, the second column is Shotpoints, the third and fourth columns are XY coordinates. Then save your file ! click on file-&gt;save or save as and a window opens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/06-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-403\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure you select Tab Delimiter and Comma Decimal symbol and click ok and ok again to overwrite your txt file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*** Open your QGIS project and click on Layer-&gt;Add Layer-&gt;Add Delimiter Text Layer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/07-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-404\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Browse to your file name and then be sure you select &#8220;Decimal separator is comma&#8221;. Select XY columns. Do not add anything in the M field. An overview of the columns is given at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/08-5-1024x716.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-405\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then click &#8220;add&#8221; and close. Your nav file should appear as a collection of points:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/09-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-406\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At this stage, you could leave the project asa collection of points: they represent shotpoints or CMP. You can also try to convert these points as a line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If not already in QGIS, we need to manually install the SAGA extension<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Sans-titre.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-407\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the window that opens, select the processing saga nextgen provider<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/11-1024x539.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-408\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You need now to install SAGA on your computer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/saga-gis\/files\/\">https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/saga-gis\/files\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note the path for installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the top of QGIS main window, click on Processing-&gt;Toolbox<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Sans-titre-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-409\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the processing toolbox click on &#8220;options&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/11-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-410\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the options window, go to processing and then paste the path to your saga folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/12-5-1024x772.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-411\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;In the right pane, the toolbox displays all tools available. In the search box type &#8220;points to line and click on Convert Points to lines in SAGA extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/13-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-412\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the window that opens, select your profile and save it as a shp file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paleturquoise-reindeer-331443.hostingersite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/14-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-413\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click Run.
